It was rumored to be true, a Neon Genesis Evangelion movie in production. Now it might really come to light. Quietly at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego Richard Taylor, co founder of Weta, managed to gather nearly half the funds to make a live action Evangelion movie. That’s nearly $60 million that people are investing into this mammoth project. Adult Swim’s run of the series will probably boost Taylor’s earning’s next year so a live action Evangelion movie seems inevitable.
