A victory for NERVE and Sammy Corporation, Hisshou Pachislot Kouryoku Series Vol.5: CR Shinseiki Evangelion sells over 100,000 copies in its first week on sale in Japan. Pachislot games are like slot machine games, except everything isn’t left up to chance. If you have a sharp eye for discerning patterns you can tip the odds in your favor. CR Shinseiki Evangelion and Winning Eleven 10 are the only non DS games in the list. New Super Mario Brothers keeps the top slot with nearly 245,000 units sold and Animal Crossing: Wild World gets even closer to the three million mark with an extra 25,000 copies sold. Actually, the Touch Generations series sold exceptionally well with Tetris DS, Brain Age, More Brain Age and English Training DS all selling strong.
