We’re going to see Sanrio mascots like Cinnamoroll paired up with Evangelion characters such as Shinji Ikari for a new selection of plush toys. Sega shared photos of the five items that are part of this line. They’ll show up as prizes in Japanese arcades starting on June 12, 2026. US listings haven’t shown up on the company’s Amazon storefront or Crunchyroll yet, though we have seen other items that appeared as prizes in Japan come up at both sites in the past like some Sakura Wars products.

This Evangelion x Sanrio Characters crossover involves five members of the main cast of the anime in their plugsuits, with five mascots dressed to match them. Each person also has hair accessories tied to their partner. So Shinji has Cinnamoroll at his side and similar ears on his head. Asuka Shikinami Langley’s partner is Pompompurin. Mari Makinami Illustrious is with Hangyodon. Rei Ayanami is paired up with My Melody. Finally, the last duo is Kaworu Nagisa with Kuromi.
