The Shift Up 1Q 2026 Earnings Results appeared on the developer’s IR Resources section of its official site, and it confirmed we’ll hear news about the new Stellar Blade sequel and Project Spirits game in 2026. It also noted that sequel and Shinji Mikami Unbound games will be “first-party” service and part of “multiple PC/console” opportunities. It also noted Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is performing as planned and referenced the 3.5th anniversary and Anis SSR alt. The company said it will work on creating more merchandise, specifically referencing NIKKE items.
Exact details about the Stellar Blade sequel, Project Spirits development, and other new games are a little slim. In the Q&A section, Shift Up did touch on both. It noted the original Stellar Blade had ” steady sales” and cited its “overwhelmingly positive” status on Steam. It also claimed, “Development of the next Stellar Blade title is progressing smoothly, on track to meet our targeted quality standards.” In terms of Project Spirits, formerly known as Project Witches, it only reaffirmed it is “progressing well” and more details will come this year.
In terms of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Shift Up affirmed its plans for fourth anniversary events for the game. It noted that will happen in the “second half” of 2026. The developer noted it will focus on ensuring it remains relevant over a long-term period. At the same time, it also mentioned it will sell more merchandise based on the game.
The Unbound update on Shinji Mikami’s studio also ended up being short. Shift Up noted “approximately 60” people are part of the team and they’re working on “multiple projects.”
Here’s a screenshot of the slide showing the news regarding future Shift Up games.
