Ready to stop kitten around and get serious with mechs? Doinksoft and Devolver Digital have just released Gato Roboto, an action-adventure game about a cat named Kiki who finds themselves on an alien planet. Fortunately, this kitty has a mech suit, which will allow them to explore a deep space outpost.

Like Castlevania and Metroid, initially Gato Roboto’s cat is rather limited. However, as you progress, you will get new weapons and abilities that helps open up the world. As you grow in strength, you’ll have a better chance of helping the cat save Gary, a starship commander who ended up crashing on the remote planet that was emitting a suspicious signal. (The crash might have been Kiki’s fault.)

Here is the Gato Roboto launch trailer.

Gato Roboto is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch and PC, ready to scratch someone’s itch for adventure. An official website is now open.
