Fairune 2 Is Circle Entertainment’s Next 3DS Game [Update]

Circle Entertainment has confirmed that Fairune 2 will be the next Nintendo 3DS game it will bring to the eShop. Fairune 2 is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive sequel to Fairune, which appeared on the handheld and both Apple iOS and Android devices. According to the company’s most recent tweet, it will appear as part of either the October 20, 2016 or October 27, 2016 update. In a subsequent tweet, Circle confirmed it would arrive in Europe on October 27, 2016.

In Fairune 2, players follow a young heroine. The battle system is similar to early Ys games, in that she runs into enemies with her sword to attack them. There are also elements from The Legend of Zelda series, as she will need to collect items and solve puzzles to proceed further through the game.

Fairune 2 appeared on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on July 13, 2016.
