Skipmore, the developer behind Fairune, Drancia, and various Flash games and smartphones games, announced a new game in the works for Nintnedo Switch called Kamiko in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]

Kamiko is an action game that is set in a pixel art world. The game will have players pick out of three different Divine Maidens to take on the bosses of the game.

Here are the three Divine Maidens:

  • Yamato: A girl born to a family of water maidens. She wields a sword with long reach called “Kusanagi no Tsurugi.”

  • Uzume: A maiden of the earth who lives in a forest. She’s able to perform long-ranged attacks with her bow called “Yasakani no Magatama.”

  • Hinome: The youngest of the Fire Maidens. She fights using her shield called “Yata no Kagami” as a boomerang in battle.

Kamiko launches in Japan in April for 500 yen. Its development is 90% complete.
