Details about Fairy Fencer F aka the first title under the Galapagos RPG label leaked online. This game from Compile Heart is developed by the Neptunia team, has Yoshitaka Amano onboard as a concept artist, and Nobuo Uematsu’s band The Earthbound Papas making music. Tsunako who worked on Data A Live also the Neptunia series is Fairy Fencer F’s character designer.
Fairy Fencer F’s story is about a goddess and an evil god and when the game begins royal principles have been twisted for evil. The battle system is an evolved version of Neptunia’s battle system. Characters can do mid-air combos and team attacks that can knock an enemy off their stance.
Fairy Fencer F will be released for PlayStation 3 this year as a 7,329 yen ($73) standalone game and a 9,429 yen ($95) limited edition.
