Falcom revealed in its latest financial results briefing that the new Ys game that is in development along with several other console games will release by September 2019. [Thanks, Game’s Talk.] Previously, Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo said that a new Ys game is in the works and it takes place after the events of Ys VIII. We know that it’s already been in development for some time now so a September 2019 deadline doesn’t sound too bad. The briefing also mentioned specifically that there are multiple console titles that are also expected to release by September 2019.
