According to the NPD, Fallout: New Vegas took the number two spot on the best selling games of October 2010 chart. You’re looking at the top selling title, NBA 2K11 from Take Two. Sports games were a slam dunk last month with soccer, football, and basketball (should we count wrestling too?) titles selling strong.

Fable III also brought Microsoft a king’s ransom. While it wasn’t number one, it climbed up to fourth place with only five days of sales. Fable III was released in North America on October 26.
