In an unprecedented decision, Rising Star Games are working with fans to translate Fragile Dreams: Farewell, Ruins of the Moon’s script into Spanish.

Fifty volunteers recruited by DSWii.es are localizing the 35,000 word script. However, the fan edited script won’t be on disc. The massive file will be distributed as download on the Fragile Dreams translation guide portal for free after the game launches on March 19.

"The most important aspect of this translation is not that the game arrives in Spanish, but that this is the first time in history in which gamers will participate actively in the development process or the localisation of a title," said Hugo Fraga, director of content and marketing at Blogocio Media SL.

Good point Fraga and Rising Star Games is dabbling in new territory. Perhaps, one of their future games will go a step further and put a fan translation directly into one of their games.
