Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Reportedly Delayed to 2024

Level-5’s Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has reportedly been delayed until 2024, according to a recent advertisement in a certain Japanese publication. Despite the news, the official website still has 2023 listed as the release window for the upcoming Nintendo Switch game. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

The last we’ve heard of Fantasy Life i’s development was at Tokyo Game Show 2023, where Producer Keiji Inafune revealed a new “Life” (Job) players can pursue (the new job in particular is the artist). At that time this past September, no word of a release date was mentioned. However, no word of an official announcement of a delay until next year has been released, either.

We are now waiting for an official statement from Level-5 regarding the status of development for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. It is uncertain when the official website will be updated to reflect the alleged change in release window.

It has been over a decade since the original Fantasy Life released in 2012 in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. Now, the wait for a sequel will allegedly grow longer than originally anticipated.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time for the Nintendo Switch will reportedly be delayed until 2024.
