Remember how Away: Shuffle Dungeon and Blue Dragon Plus had unexpected Q1 2008 release windows? Mistwalker already pulled Blue Dragon Plus from the table when they changed the release date from March 2008 to 2008. Now, Away: Shuffle Dungeon is getting the same treatment. AQ Interactive announced it's release date will change from February 28 to sometime in summer 2008, which is also the new release window for Blue Dragon Plus.
I thought the source of the delay for Blue Dragon Plus was due FeelPlus, the developer. They just got Lost Odyssey out the door and this is their first Nintendo DS project as a studio. However, the news about Away: Shuffle Dungeon is unsettling. Is the problem Mistwalker? Perhaps, AQ Interactive who is publishing both of these projects felt the quality wasn’t up to par? Nope, they let Vampire Rain slip out the door without any issues. But seriously, it’s not like Artoon is working on many other projects and this certainly isn’t their first Nintendo DS game.
