FE Warriors: Three Hopes Characters Will Appear in Fire Emblem Heroes

The September 2022 Feh Channel program revealed that Fire Emblem Heroes will see the inclusion of characters who debuted in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Shez, Monica, and Holst will appear in the ever-growing roster of the mobile Fire Emblem game.

The Adrestian Monica von Ochs will appear as a mage with the title “Favored Vassal.” Holst Sigiswald Goneril, the elder brother of Hilda Valentine Goneril, will also join as the “Hero of Leicester.” The Three Hopes version of Hilda, who had appeared previously in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, will also show up as an Ascended Hero with the title “Helping Hand.”

Both versions of the protagonist Shez will also appear in Heroes. The male version will have the title “Rising Mercenary” and stay true to his canon Fluegel class by using two swords. Meanwhile, the female version, titled “Keen Mercenary,” will instead become an axe wielder.

While Intelligent Systems held celebrations to mark the release of Three Hopes in June 2022, this program revealed the actual game characters appearing in the mobile app for the first time. The inclusion of Three Hopes heroes will also be the first time Fire Emblem Heroes adds characters from the series’ Warriors entries.

The first Fire Emblem Warriors game was a crossover title that launched during the Nintendo Switch’s launch year in 2017. While it featured original protagonists Rowan and Lianna, Intelligent Systems has never included those characters in Heroes. In the latest sixth round of the Choose Your Legends poll, neither name appeared among the 600 names that people could vote for. On the other hand, Intelligent Systems added characters from Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the collaborative game made with Atlus, around the time the latter’s Encore edition was released for the Switch in January 2020.

A new banner that goes live from September 16 to October 6, 2022, will give players chances to summon the male Shez: Rising Mercenary, Monica: Favored Vassal, and Hilda: Helping Hand. The original Rearmed Hero Líf: Arcane Blade will complete the banner’s roster. A mission that rewards the female Shez: Keen Mercenary will also be available for the same period. Holst: Hero of Leicester will appear through a Great Hero Battle that runs on September 17-24, 2022.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available worldwide on iOS and Android mobile devices.
