People can get a sample of the next Final Fantasy VII game, as the FFVII Ever Crisis closed beta is now live. Until July 13, 2023, people who got in can sample the RPG. Now that it launched, Square Enix revealed the guidelines for sharing and streaming content from it, details about its first two weapon banners, and the limitations for the co-op battle feature.

When it comes to posting about FFVII Ever Crisis online, the restrictions are fairly typical. It asks for the “© Square Enix” copyright notice to be shared, to only use original Square Enix content, to not use it commercially, and to not use leaked, unreleased, or unofficial content. It also asks people to avoid spoilers. It requests people to not be offensive and use language that could be hateful. But otherwise, sharing is allowed.

With the weapon banner Stamp Draws for the FFVII Ever Crisis closed beta, there are two options. One features equipment for the new characters Glenn and Matt. People who pull on it can get the five-star Crewkicker for Glenn or Killer Hornet for Matt. The Stamp Reward for that banner is the Killer Attire for Matt. The Cloud and Barret banner features Murasame for Cloud and Microlaser for Barret. These are also both five-star weapons. The reward for that banner is the Murasame Armor for Cloud.

Here’s a closer look at them both:

As for the co-op battles in the closed beta, the Scorpion Sentinel from FFVII and Wu & Tai from Crisis Core will appear. However, you can’t always participate in them.

The Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis closed beta runs until July 13, 2023. The full game’s release will follow sometime after on Android and Apple iOS devices.
