Square Enix took to its Japanese Final Fantasy VII social media to offer another peek at Vincent Valentine in FFVII Revelation. After starting with a story scene, we see how his guns could prove useful when he’s the primary character controlled in an area and what he’s capable of during a fight. It also again highlights the Synergy Ability he shares with Cid Highwind. It builds on what we saw of him in FFVII Rebirth.
The video clip begins with us watching Vincent attack some enemies in FFVII Revelation during a story scene and lets us hear one of Shogo Suzuki’s voiced lines. Suzuki portrayed the character since both the Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII spin-off game and Advent Children movie. After that, his Rapid Fire ability in a location is shown. When we use that, we can aim the reticle on-screen to highlight a number of targets. He will then automatically attack and perform a combo. The commentary on-screen noted this allowed the player to get materials for the Assayer’s Monocle and a Hi-Potion, as well as a Zephyrous Lifeshard. Things close out with some combat footage, including him transformed into his Galian Beast form and teaming up with Cid for what looks to be the aforementioned Synergy Ability.
