Square Enix announced the next Final Fantasy XI update. However, while it will bring new things and Escha Silt issue compensation, it won’t include the next part of The Voracious Resurgence. However, the FFXI January 11, 2022 update will bring new Ambuscade changes and a higher Odyssey’s Sheol: Gaol Vengeance Cap.

First, the FFXI The Voracious Resurgence will continue, just not yet. The next update to it is a month away. There’s no exact date yet, but the story will get an extra part in February 2022.

Many of the FFXI January 2022 updates are fairly typical additions. The Ambuscade will get smilodons in Normal fights and goblins in Intense ones. Odyssey’s Sheol: Gaol’s Vengeance cap will be increased by 20. Records of Eminence will get new objectives. There will be a new key item category. There will also be some new items and Synthesis recipes.

Finally, people who are affected by the November update issue and Escha Silt temporary item losses will be compensated. Only select people will get Primeval Brews between it and the February 2022 update. The following people will qualify, according to the update.

  • Players in possession of the scintillating rhapsody key item as of the start of the January 2022 maintenance.
  • Players for whom 45 days or more have passed since character creation at the time of receipt.

Final Fantasy XI is available on PCs. The January 2022 FFXI update will arrive on January 11, 2022.
