FFXIII Costumes and Weapons Return to FFVII Ever Crisis

FFXIII Costumes and Weapons Return to FFVII Ever Crisis Square Enix announced that some of the FFVII Ever Crisis banners tied to the FFXIII event will return on April 15, 2026, giving people a chance to get themed costumes and weapons again. Specifically, the Cloud and Sephiroth items were mentioned. These will also include some buffs that update all the equipment to make the pieces stronger and on-par with more recent releases. When this event first debuted, both Aerith and Tifa got outfits based on the costume Lightning wore in FFXIII, while the following FFVII Ever Crisis banners involved a FFXIII-2 outfit and weapon for young Sephiroth and Lightning Returns: FFXIII equipment for Cloud and Glenn. Each of the weapons is getting a C Ability and Spade Custom additional effect, while the two pieces of gear are getting C Abilities. There’s no word yet on if the Glenn armor, which could be earned via the event, will also get the Reawakened update. Here are all the changes on the way: * Cloud Crimson Blitz sword: Lightning Rush C Ability that deals non-elemental magical damage and casts Ice Weakness on one enemy and gives allies Ice Damage Bonus if Cloud’s HP is under 50%. The Spade Custom has an Ice ATM Conservation buff for all allies. * Cloud Equilibrium gear: Ultra Lightning Rush C Ability that deals non-elemental magical damage to an enemy and gives Cloud Exploit Weakness. * Glenn’s Snow’s Bardiche axe: Chaos Geyser C Ability that deals ice magic damage and casts MATK down on an enemy and gives allies MDEF up if Glenn’s HP is under 70%. The Spade Custom adds a Fire Damage Down enemy debuff. * Young Sephiroth’s Knight of Etro: Ultra Smite C Ability that deals physical water damage to an enemy and gives hum Amp Phys Abilities. * Young Sephiroth’s Overture sword: Smite C Ability that deals physical water damage and casts PDEF Down on one enemy and gives allies HP Gain and casts Water Damage Up on allies if Sephiroth has a buff. The Spade Custom increases allies’ MDEF. Square Enix also shared infographics for each update, which act as a reminder for what all the returning pieces of FFXIII equipment look like in FFVII Ever Crisis. FFVII Ever Crisis is available on PCs and mobile devices, and the FFXIII event banners with Reawakened costumes and weapons will be back on April 15, 2026.
