FFXIV Fan Kit Updates With Dawntrail Jobs

Square Enix announced that it updated elements of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Kit today, with most of the items being taken from FFXIV Dawntrail jobs. All of them are immediately available on the official site. The company also included update notices on sections, so we’ll know exactly what items to download to have up-to-date collections.

The section with the fewest changes is Social Media Fan Kit, since the FFXIV Dawntrail banner already was added in the Social Media Banners section. The Social Media Avatars area now includes sprites of the Pictomancer and Viper, the two jobs added in this latest update. 

Here’s how those look. They’re designed to mimic the style used for classic Final Fantasy SNES entries like FFVI. 

As for the Icon Compilation, it goes over new additions that have been added in most recent 7.0 patches. The sections here with new items are the Class & Job Icons, Crafter/Gatherer Actions, PvE Actions, and PvP Actions. Square Enix didn’t highlight which specific items are new. 

This comes as the 7.18 patch dropped for FFXIV Dawntrail. That added some quality of life changes and job balancing. The Instax Photograph emote is also now present in the game as a free bonus.

Final Fantasy XIV and its Dawntrail expansion are available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
