While there is a YouTube channel for the mobile game that contains videos in English and Japanese, this new trailer appeared first on the Chinese website Weibo. The trailer, which is around three minutes long, features nine different jobs. All of them also happened to comprise the complete list of regular jobs that appeared in the version 2.0 launch of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Here is the complete list of jobs featured in the new FFXIV Mobile trailer, based on their order of appearance:

  • Warrior
  • Paladin (also known as Knight in Japanese)
  • Bard
  • Black Mage
  • Summoner
  • Monk
  • Dragoon
  • Scholar
  • White Mage

Despite being a mobile game, it won’t have any gacha features as Lightspeed Studios seeks to base the game’s experience on the original MMORPG that has been available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X. As a side note, Square Enix has still yet to include China in the list of supported countries for the global releases of the original Final Fantasy XIV on PC and consoles as of 2024.

Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will be available in multiple countries and territories worldwide—including China—for Android and iOS mobile devices.
