Square Enix took to social media to reveal a change to the way the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store works that makes it possible to buy the FFXIV Modern Aesthetics hair cuts from certain glamour attire instead of being forced to buy a whole costume with outfit to unlock additional hairstyles. 14 are available via this method on the online store as of time of writing. In each case, it costs $5 for the hairstyle alone.
Here’s the full list of the now sold separately Modern Aesthetics FFXIV hair cuts available as individual hairstyles in the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store. In the case of the ones that previously appeared in the FFXIIILightning’s Attire and Snow’s Attire costume sets, the two are being sold together for $5 here as Modern Aesthetics – Pulse. However, the female and male versions of the Omega hairstyle are sold separately.

The outfits for each of the characters above when sold alone are $12 each. If someone wants the costume and Modern Aesthetics hairstyles, then it tends to cost $15 for the bundles.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV Evercold expansion is set to appear in January 2027.
