FFXIV Quest Icon Magnets Will Light Up

People will have a new way to get organized with Final Fantasy XIV, and the items have a potential built-in priority system. Taito will make FFXIV quest icon magnets. Each one features two sheets, which allow you to signal if a quest is available or is complete. They also each light up. They are expected to ship in September 2021. [Thanks, Aitai Kuji!]

There will be three different types of magnets available. Each one is based upon one of the sorts of FFXIV quest markers you’ll see in-game. So you can alert yourself to a Main Scenario Quest in your life. You might also use the Side Quest icon that suggests you’ll get a new ability for something that might benefit you. Finally, the third magnet is for a Side Quest, perhaps to highlight an optional task.

At the moment, only Aitai Kuji is offering these three FFXIV quest icon magnets outside Japan. The Main Scenario icon is most expensive and will be ¥2,500 (~$23). The markers alerting someone to a Side Quest or Duty or Job Quest are ¥2,300 (~$21) each.

This is the second sort of FFXIV magnets on the way. The Square Enix Online Store worldwide is taking pre-orders for $5.50 acrylic job icon magnets. They will appear in October 2021 in Dark Knight, Dragoon, Monk, Ninja, Paladin, and Warrior varieties.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The FFXIV quest icon magnets will appear in Japan in September 2021.
