Fight of Animals Arena Adds Kungfu Dachshund

Back when Digital Crafter announced Fight of Animals: Arena, it noted that both old characters from the original Fight of Animals and new ones would appear in the game. Now, it revealed the first new warrior via Twitter. Kungfu Dachshund, a dog that knows martial arts, will join a roster that already includes Bad Dog, Crowrilla, Egg Dog, and Slender Cat.

To accompany the character, there’s a whole new Fight of Animals: Arena trailer. It begins by showing Kungfu Dachshund’s official character art and introduction image. Then, we get to see more gameplay footage of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate-style arena fighter. (As a reminder, up to four people can play online in it and, just like the original Fight of Animals, it will have rollback online netcode.)

Here’s the Kungfu Dachshund debut. At the end of the video, Digital Crafter teased some of the outfits that will appear in game, showing that a set of Complete Christmas Costumes will be available when the game launches. (It didn’t note if they will be free or paid DLC.)

Fight of Animals: Arena is in development for PCs. While it doesn’t have a release date yet, the latest announcements suggested it would be out soon and have Christmas costumes at launch. Its predecessor, Fight of Animals, is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
