Square Enix shared in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine some of the latest details of their upcoming remake for Final Fantasy Adventure. [Thanks, Hachima.]

Final Fantasy Adventure is a full remake of the Game Boy version of the game. It will have completely new graphics and controls, along with a new arrangement of music by Kenji Ito.

It will also have a refined form of the series’ Ring Command system, which will be called the “Half Ring Command.” Switching weapons and armor will be easier than ever.

The remake will also add  new shortcut commands that weren’t in the original version. Magic and items will be smoother than ever to use, too.

Final Fantasy Adventure will release this winter in Japan for PlayStation Vita, Android, and iPhone. The game’s development is currently 90% complete.
