Final Fantasy Art Director’s Studio Also Working On Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey

Kobojo has announced that a new art collaboration for its upcoming RPG Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey at Tokyo Game Show.

 

CyDesignation, Inc., the Japanese game design and production company, is doing the art direction. The studio is led by Final Fantasy V, VI, IX, and XII art director Hideo Minaba. It also has Akihiko Yoshida as company director, who is noted for his artwork on Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story, various Final Fantasy games, and Bravely Default.

 

This is not the only notable talent to have collaborated on Zodiac: Orcanon  as Final Fantasy VII writer Kazushige Nojima and Valkyria Chronicles composer Hitoshi Sakimoto has also worked on it.

 

Kobojo also opened up a new website and released a Tokyo Game Show trailer for Zodiac alongside this new announcement. The website will be updated each week with anew video for Zodiac’s characters, starting with Kadyn, a warrior of the winged fawlkon race.

 

Finally, Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey will released as a premium game for iOS in the US and Europe in October 2015. It will come to Japan, as well as PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4, in early 2016.
