Final Fantasy Tactics being remade for the PSP

Through scans of Shonen Jump Square-Enix unveiled the “Ivalice Alliance”, which is a new project with games related to the world of Ivalice. One of the surprise games they announced is a remake of Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP. The new version called, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War is more or less an enhanced port of the Playstation game. There are some new features like cel-shaded cutscenes and there are going to be new jobs. As of now only Onion Knight has been unveiled. It’s only a matter of time until Square-Enix USA announces that they’re bringing the title over to North America, hopefully with a patched translation. Probably more exciting than hearing about the remake is that a new Final Fantasy Tactics game is in the works called, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire. The new tactics game is also part of the “Ivalice Alliance” along with Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. Could we see a Vaan, Fran and Penelo as part of Final Fantasy Tactics A2?
