Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Sale Appears Alongside Developer Video

Square Enix shared both a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer video offering insight from the team behind the trilogy, as well as a sale on the second entry in the FFVII saga on Amazon. The video spends an hour and a half talking about the game, while the temporary sale drops the price of a physical copy of the game from $69.99 to $54.99.

With the developer video, Directors Naoki Hamaguchi and Motomu Toriyama, Art Director Shintaro Takai, and Battle Director Teruki Endo all came together to discuss the game. Due to the length, Square Enix shared a directory going over different elements of the title, so people could potentially jump to sections they’re most interested in. For example, Barret meeting Dyne again after the party visits the Gold Saucer for the first time comes up at about the 30 minute mark, while the group focused more about developing the Gold Saucer segments at about an hour into the presentation.

As for the Amazon sale on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, this discount covers the Amazon Edition of the FFVII title. This means that people also get a Dualsense controller skin for their PS5. While Amazon didn’t share a picture of it, it noted the decoration features Cloud and Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on the PS5, and the exclusivity arrangement ended on May 29, 2024. Amazon and Square Enix didn’t note how long the sale will last.
