Another year, another Final Fantasy beverage with figures. This year Square Enix and Suntory have six Final Fantasy XIII toys to collect.

You can get (from left to right): Vanille, Oerba Yun Fang, Lightning, Snow, Sazh, and Hope with an orange/grape flavored elixir for 900 yen ($10). The figures are randomly distributed so there’s always a chance you’ll get three Hopes before finding one Lightning.

Dengeki PlayStation has an amusing interview and photo gallery about the Elixir to read. To give the drink an Elixir-esque effect, Suntory upped the amount of royal jelly and caffeine. Compared to the Final Fantasy potion beverage, an Elixir has 3x the royal jelly and 4x the caffeine in one 350mL can. A one-day supply (based on recommended values) of thiamine (aka vitamin B1) and B6 were also added to relieve fatigue. I suppose all of those additives give the Final Fantasy XIII Elixir soft drink some revitalizing effect.
