If you were one of the few Playstation 3 owners who purchased one in hopes of getting Final Fantasy XIII at the end of this year, you may be ready for a somewhat big letdown.
At the Square-Enix financial briefing, Square-Enix CEO Yoichi Wada not only praised the sales of the Final Fantasy franchise but also mentioned something that was a bit hard on the ears. In regards to perhaps one of the biggest awaited titles to Japanese gamers, Yoichi Wada said that Final Fantasy XIII would be delayed this fiscal year. Whether or not its due to development issues is completely unknown; but this shouldn’t be surprising to some of you as Square-Enix has been known to delay their big name titles. Here’s hoping, though, that the demo still comes out as planned this year.
