A Final Fantasy XIV Xbox version is on the way. The last announcement at the FFXIV Fan Fest 2023 was a port of the MMORPG. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida brought out Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. The announcement also confirmed cross-play for all versions of the game. It will only be on the Xbox Series X and S consoles. It will appear in Spring 2024. There will be an open beta ahead of its launch, with that occurring during 6.5X. A few details were brought up during the discussion. This will be a digital-only version of FFXIV and will support up to Dawntrail. It will feature faster loading and, if someone is on an Xbox Series X, faster loading. You can watch the FFXIV Fan Fest 2023 July 28, 2023 stream below.
