Over on the Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone, the Patch Notes for 3.25 were released, giving us a look at what was added in this most recent update.
First off, players will be able to further strengthen their anima weapons by taking on the latest quest in the anima questline. To do this, you must speak with Ardashir in Azys Lla and have also completed the quest “Coming into Its Own” in addition to possessing an anima weapon. Players now have to option to purchase replica anima weapons from the Restoration Node in Azys Lla (X:7.1 Y:11.2).
A few changes have come to the Gold Saucer as well. Chocobo racing gets an update with the brand new Chocobo Challenge, which pits players against special racing opponents. Treasure maps will now appear on the map and mini-map during races.
Additionally, the MGP reward for completing Gold Saucer Challenge Log objectives has been substantially increased. For example, entering 5 Chocobo races will now net you 5,000 MGP instead of 1,000.
