Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 4.1 update just went live, and it brings a multitude of additions and refinements, including a new 24-man raid based on Ivalice, new residential area, and plenty more.
Here are some highlights from the official Patch 4.1 Notes:
New main scenario quests have been added
New side story quests have been added
Kojin Beast Tribe Quests have been added
A new area within the Lost Canals of Uznair, the Hidden Canals of Uznair, has been added
Command Missions have been added, allowing players to enter instanced dungeons alongside three unit members
Plots can be purchased in Shirogane
* In light of the recent hurricanes in the North American region, house demolition has been temporarily suspended.
Apartments can be purchased in Shirogane’s Kobai Goten building
Players can now swim in all residential areas
New paintings have been added
New window furnishings have been added
New blank partition furnishings have been added, which can be decorated with several wallpaper designs
New prizes are available for purchase using MGP
New Triple Triad cards have been added
New emotes have been added
New aesthetician hairstyles have been added
A new dungeon, the Drowned City of Skalla, has been added
A new trial, the Minsterl’s Ballad: Shinryu’s Domain, has been added
The alliance raid dungeon, The Royal City of Rabanastre, has been added
