Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Celebrates Its Anniversary With Fireworks And Minions

It’s already been a year since the realm of Final Fantasy XIV was reborn, and Square Enix are celebrating its first anniversary with “The Rising” event and a bunch of extra goodies. The official website gives us a look at what we can get from the event.

While Square Enix celebrates the game’s first anniversary, in the world of Eorzea, the adventurers are celebrating in memory of those lose to the Calamity, and with hopes for a better tomorrow.

The special event will reward players with the “Huzzah” emote, as shown in the above image.

There are also a few usable items to further celebrate the event, like fireworks champagne bottles that can be used to go around spraying, and two minions in the Wind-up Minfilia and Wind-up Thancred that can be purchased through an NPC at Limsa Lominsa.

The event quest can be started at the location shown above, and will continue until Monday, September 8 at 7:39am PDT.
