Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.3 patch, Reflections in Crystal, will release on August 11, 2020. Originally delayed due to situations surrounding COVID-19, the next update to Shadowbringers will arrive this Fall. Reflections in Crystal was originally slated to release sometime in mid-June. This will be the conclusion to the Shadowbringers story line. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.3 patch will implement the second installment of the NieR: Automata YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse collaboration raid. In addition to this, new story content will be added to the game to close up the Shadowbringers story.
Square Enix disclosed that the cutscenes that will follow once you’ve completed the remainder of the story content will be movie length, so fans will have quite a bit to look forward to. More content will also be added to the Save the Queen story-line and relic quest. The Ishgard Restoration crafting quests will also be receiving an update as well.
In addition to this, the next Letter from the Producer LIVE (or Live Letter) will take place on July 22, 2020. Final Fantasy XIV players will want to tune in to learn more information about the upcoming patch.
