Final Fantasy XIV’s upcoming patch 3.5, The Far Edge of Fate, is due out on January 17th, and preliminary patch notes have been posted over on the game’s official Lodestone.
Here’s a preview of what players can look forward to in patch 3.5.
New main story quests have been added.
Additionally, new Chronicles of a New Era quests have been added.
New quests in the Warring Triad series have been added.
With the release of patch 3.5, the Scholasticate and Hildebrand side story quests will be continued.
Patch 3.5 will also see the addition of new Anima weapon quests.
Players will have new beast tribe quests to look forward to, as well.
New hairstyles and new emotes have been added.
Players using the Summoner job will now be able to change the outward appearance of their summoned Egis to that of Carbuncles after completing the appropriate quest.
Two new dungeons, Baelsar’s Wall and Sohm Al (Hard), have been added.
New trials, Containment Bay Z1T9 and Containment Bay Z1T9 (Extreme) have been added.
The patch wil also see the introduction of new gear and items.
New mounts and new minions will also become available in patch 3.5.
