Square Enix shared a couple new screenshots providing a peek at Insomnia in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV DLC, titled Episode Ardyn, which is set to release later this month.
As previously detailed, Episode Ardyn takes place 35 years prior to the events of Final Fantasy XV’s main story. The Empire of Niflheim’s researcher Verstael Besithia frees Ardyn Lucis Caelum from his 2,000-year imprisonment. Ardyn is taken to the impreial lab, where he discovers a certain truth and vows to take revenge on the Kingdom of Lucis.
The DLC features characters that appeared in the main story from several decades prior, and there players will get to see characters such as Ardyn’s beloved Aera Mils Fleuret and his brother Somnus Lucis Caelum in the mix.
Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Episode Ardyn releases on March 26, 2019. Check our previous report for more details and screenshots for the DLC.
