Final Fantasy XV Goes Off-Roading With Regalia In New Update

Final Fantasy XV just got its version 1.12 update that allows players to have some off-roading fun with the new “Type-D” Regalia that Cindy can fix up for you now.

The above footage gives us an idea what it’s like to go off-roading with the souped-up Regalia. This should make it easier to explore some of the areas away from the roads, and I’m pretty sure players will find ways to be creative with the new feature.

Here are the patch notes for the 8.65GB update:

• Implementation of Regalia Type-D off-road customization option (available at Hammerhead)
• Conclusion of survey regarding future updates
• Addition of compatibility with Episode Prompto
• Addition of pieces from Episode Prompto to music player tracklist
• Various bug fixes

Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The next scenario DLC, Episode Prompto, releases tomorrow, June 27.
