Halfway through Final Fantasy XV, Noctis and his friends will be able to encounter some rather familiar enemies. The Gamescom Active Time Report showed off a swampy valley in which Malboros have decided to settle. This time, the monsters will camouflage themselves, hiding in the environment, so it can catch the party by surprise.
The Malboro in Final Fantasy XV relies upon iconic attacks. In the Gamescom gameplay footage, the creature attempts to bite party members and immediately unleashes a Bad Breath attack. Noctis and his party visible choke on the fog and all collapse. The video ended with a game over screen, as the entire group succumbed to the attack.
