Final Fantasy XV Sales Reach 10 Million Units Worldwide

Final Fantasy XV Sales

Square Enix announced that total sales for Final Fantasy XV have reached 10 million units worldwide. This includes digital and physical sales of the title. Additionally, this number includes total worldwide sales for Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition. However, Square Enix did not specify exactly how much that version of the game sold in reference to total cumulative sales, only that the 10 million was achieved through physical sales and downloads of all available versions of the game. Since its release, Final Fantasy XV has appeared on PlayStation 5 through the PlayStation Plus Collection. It has also appeared on PC and Xbox through Xbox Game Pass. However, the game was already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at earlier points in time. The title has even seen a release on mobile devices through Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition. Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is a more simplified version of Final Fantasy XV, though it tells the same story.

Additionally, it has seen several transmedia property releases. This includes the novel Final Fantasy XV: The Dawn of the Future and the CGI movie Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. A 4K remaster box set of Kingsglaive released in February 2022.

Final Fantasy XV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
