Final Fantasy XV Day One Update Details Coming November 21, 2016

On Twitter today, Square Enix offered details about when people can expect Final Fantasy XV’s first update. Despite the game going gold and being finished, the development team had some enhancements, extra features, and upgrades they wanted to add. These will be downloaded automatically as part of the day one patch for the game.

Square Enix didn’t suggest what any of these features are or how big the day one patch may be. However, an image was posted on Twitter by a user named LordKelsen that apparently shows a 1.01 Final Fantasy XV patch coming in at over 7.2GB.

Final Fantasy XV releases on November 29, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
