Final Fantasy XVI Merchandise Includes Keychains and a Shirt

The Japanese Square Enix e-Store started taking pre-orders for Final Fantasy XVI merchandise. The initial run includes a number of items both inspired by the different regions in the game and certain Eikons. For example, there are laser-engraved crystal displays showing Eikons. Clear files show different characters. There are also Final Fantasy XVI keychains and a long-sleeved shirt on the way. All items are set to debut in Japan on July 8, 2023. These aren’t showing up in the worldwide storefront yet, but such products often do after a brief delay.

First, there are two kinds of laser-etched glass displays. Each one costs 4,950円 (~$36). One features Phoenix and Ifrit, who appear in the Yoshitaka Amano key art. The other features Shiva.

With the clear files, there are eight different types. Each one is 660円 (~$5). Each one features a Dominant on one side and their corresponding Eikon on the other. So the options are Clive and Ifrit, Joshua and Phoenix, Jill and Shiva, Cid and Ramuh, Benedikta and Garuda, Hugo and Titan, Dion and Bahamut, and Barnabas and Odin.

The long-sleeved Final Fantasy XVI shirt is based on Ifrit. It costs 5,500円 (~$40) and available in sizes medium, large, and XL. It is a cotton shirt that has Ifrit on the front and the words “fate is written in fire” on the right sleeve.

Finally, there are two kinds of Final Fantasy XVI keychains. One is a collection that features national emblem. People can get a box of five that includes each design for 8250円 (~$60) or a single, random one for 1650円 (~$12). They represent the Dhalmekian Republic, Empire of Sanbreque, Iron Kingdom, Rosaria, and Waloed Kingdom. Those are all made of metal. However, there is also a fake leather Phoenix one with a feather on one side and the game’s logo on the other. That costs 1,980円 (~$14).

Final Fantasy XVI will come to the PS5 on June 22, 2023.
