I enjoyed Fire Emblem on the Wii, but the series feels at home on a handheld. Yes, I know Fire Emblem started out on the Famicom. However, the mission style altercations suit half an hour lunch breaks. Actually, Fire Emblem: Shin Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Ken (Fire Emblem: New Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light) is a Famicom game. The first Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo DS is a remake of the first game in the series. DS owners get to experience it with new graphics and some unknown Nintendo Wi-Fi function on August 7.
Nintendo of America has not announced Fire Emblem (insert localized subtitle here) anywhere else, but if ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat is getting localized we’re getting this. Sometime. Now all those Smash Brothers players will finally understand who Marth is. Perhaps, Nintendo will capitalize on the popularity of Bral with a sticker that says “includes Marth from Super Smash Brothers Brawl!”
Marth is the protagonist of Fire Emblem: Shin Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Ken.
