Fire Emblem Engage Day 1 Patch Adds Expansion Pack Support, Free Content

Now that Fire Emblem Engage is here, there is also a day 1 patch that brings it up to 1.1.0. The update is a fairly typical one. It primarily adds support for the expansion pass’ DLC. However, it also gives people a free content pack of items. To get those extras, someone must first reach Chapter 4 of the game though.

First, here are the full Fire Emblem Engage patch notes for 1.1.0.

Expansion Pass

  • Emblem Edelgard (with Dimitri and Claude) has been added. They will join your group when you trigger the event at Lookout Ridge in the Somniel.
  • Emblem Tiki has been added. She will join your group when you clear her Divine Paralogue.
  • Expansion Pass Bonus 1 has been added. You will automatically receive stat-boosting items, including boots, if you purchased the Expansion Pass.
  • New accessories have been added to the boutique. These include the rare set, frilled band, big ribbon, single earring, and round specs.

Free Content

  • You will receive a set of weapon-refining materials when you enter the Somniel after completing Chapter 4.

Next, here is the list of items included as the free Update Bonus 1 pack. If you already passed Chapter 4, they will immediately be given to you once you load a save on the Somniel.

  • 1 Steel Axe
  • 1 Steel Bow
  • 1 Steel Lance
  • 1 Steel Sword
  • 10 Steel Ingots
  • 3,000G

As a note, the Steel Ingots are needed to refine weapons. You can also use the money to improve the weapons as well.

Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Nintendo Switch.
