A new Ascended Hero type is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes alongside Ascended Fjorm and a few new characters from Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. These new heroes include an Ascendant Floret, a new stat-boosting item. These allow players to add an Ascended Asset to a Hero’s attribute of their choosing. The new heroes will be available starting October 18, 2021.
Fjorm: Ice Ascendant is an Axe-wielding armored unit. Heather Watson is reprising her role as the English voice of Fjorm, as is Rie Takahashi as her Japanese voice. Fjorm’s artist Shigeki Maeshima also designed her new Ascended form. She will appear in the upcoming summoning event along with Wolf, Malice, and Roshea from the Mystery of the Emblem series.

Ascended Heroes are a new hero type that will be introduced along with the new Ascendant Floret upgrade currency. By consuming one floret, players can add an Ascended Asset to a hero and increase a stat of their choosing. If a stat is flawed, the Ascended Asset will cancel it out. While regular heroes will consume one floret per asset, Ascended Heroes will not require Ascendant Florets to boost their stats.
Ascendant Florets can be acquired through summoning Ascended Heroes. However, players will only receive one Ascendant Floret for the first time they summon each Ascended Hero. Furthermore, all players will receive one free Ascendant Floret when they visit the Ascend Traits menu for the first time.
Also joining the game at the same time are Mystery of the Emblem‘s Sedgar and Vyland. Sedgar will be available to players as a Grand Hero Battle reward. Two copies of Vyland are quest rewards to celebrate the addition of Ascended Heroes. Vyland will be added to the three-star and four-star summoning pools starting with the next Special Heroes event.

Fire Emblem Heroes is immediately available on iOS and Android devices. Ascended Fjorm and the new heroes, story quest, and Ascendant Florets will be available starting October 18, 2021, at 12 AM PST. Additionally, a Resplendent Kagero will appear from October 24, 2021, to November 9, 2021.
