Fire Emblem Heroes’ Resplendent Lucina Looks Like an Etrian Odyssey Heroine

Intelligent Systems announced the next Fire Emblem Heroes Resplendent Hero. It’s a very familiar face this time around. Resplendent Lucina will be available to Feh Pass subcribers between November 24 and December 9, 2020. It also seems like Etrian Odyssey artist Yuji Himukai might be responsible for the art this time, as it has a distinctive style and the artist retweeted the Japanese Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter announcement.

All active Feh Pass subscribers will get a five-star Lucina: Future Witness during that two week period. She’ll also have a +2 bonus to her stats. As for the new look, Lucina is wearing a Ljósálfheimr-inspired outfit based on the designs the fairy-like Ljósálfar wear.

Here’s a better look at Resplendent Lucina.

As for Himukai, the artist is responsible for a number of Fire Emblem Heroes characters’ designs. Both Fae’s original Divine Dragon and Holiday Dear pictures were drawn by the illustrator. (Though the Idunn: Dragonkind Duo unit that included Fae’s art was drawn by Umiu Geso.) Himukai also drew all three of the Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade orphans, Chad, Lugh and Raigh, for Fire Emblem Heroes and was behind the mobile game’s Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Mamori unit design.

The current Fire Emblem Heroes Resplendent hero is Marth. People can pick him up until November 24, 2020.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Resplendent Lucina will be available for Feh Pass subscribers between November 25, 2020 and December 9, 2020.
