Koei Tecmo recently announced the December 21 release date of Fire Emblem Warriors’ upcoming Fire Emblem Fates DLC pack for Japan. Here are some new screenshots and details from the game’s official website.
Azura
Weapon: Lance
Class: Songstress
Azura can fill up Musou and Awakening gauges of nearby allies with the power of her songs.
Oboro
Weapon: Lance
Class: Lancer
Oboro’s character skill “Counter” can guard against an enemy’s strong attack and return a shock wave, and also indicates the enemy’s stun gauge.
Niles
Weapon: Bow
Class: Thief
Niles’ character skill “Obliterate” vastly increases critical hit damage with luck.
Here’s a look at some new History Maps:
In “Mourning Beast” we’ll see Corrin go wild after hearing a mysterious song from Azura.
In “The Country Where God Sits” Corrin meets a girl with a face similar to the Demon King’s while searching for siblings.
In “Ice Village” Corrin works with a strange pair in order to subjugate a village of the ice tribe.

Clothing destruction support added:
Armor Break model for the following characters of Fire Emblem Fates: Corrin (Male and Female), Azura, Xander, Camilla, Leon, Elise, Niles, Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, and Oboro.
New character-exclusive weapons have been added with the Blessed Lance for Azura, Oboro’s Spear for Oboro, and Niles’ Bow for Niles.
Here are new weapon attributes that have been added:
- Mantle: Increases attack power of character-exclusive weapons.
- Swordbreaker, Axebreaker, Lancebreaker, Bowbreaker, Tomebreaker, Dragonstonebreaker, Talonbreaker: Increases damage against enemies using the specific weapons.
A new “Bond Charm” item can be used instead of staves or vulneraries to increase bond increase rates.
Lastly, the DLC adds new support conversations for the Fire Emblem Fates characters.
Fire Emblem Warriors is available for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS.
