Fire Pro Wrestling heats this winter up

Sony must be really relaxing their standards on Playstation 2 software because they just approved a sprite based wrestling game. Agetec has been fighting to bring the Fire Pro Wrestling series to North America on the Playstation 2, but they weren’t the first company to successfully localize a game in the series. Bam Entertainment took a stab at it back on the Game Boy Advance. That was in 2001 and it’s probably long forgotten. Since Agetec does not have much name recognition on their side they have to count on the fans of the series to laud the series. Also the game is two years old.  I wonder how America is going to react when they finally see Fire Pro Wrestling on the PS2 this holiday season.

I probably shouldn’t pour cold water on Agetec now. I bet they are having a huge party with champagne bottles about getting the approval from Sony. Cheers Agetec!
