Bandai Namco started a new series of trailers for Code Vein 2 that will focus on the characters that will act as our Revenant Hunter avatar’s allies, with Lou MagMell starring in the first one. This seems especially fitting, as she’s been one of the most visible figures in this new installment so far. We’ve seen her alongside the customizable hero in trailers since the game’s reveal.
This Code Vein 2 character trailer begins by establishing the background for Lou MagMell. She’s a Revenant and in the “Superbia” family. However, she is someone who was actually born as one in 2131. While we start by seeing a portrait of her in a mansion crying, before the view transitions to the Revenant Hunter waking up in another place with her. We already know she’s used her Time Jump powers to travel into the past with us to stop the world from falling apart. However, because of their choices, it seems the link isn’t remaining stable and she might need to sacrifice herself for their goal.

Code Vein 2 will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 30, 2026.
