First Look At Square Enix’s 3DS Car RPG, Gyrozetter: Wings Of The Albatross

Square Enix’s Gyrozetter series is rolling onto Nintendo 3DS this spring with Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross. This game shares the same world as the arcade game and TV series, but has original characters.

Instead of walking on a field, players drive on maps using their robot’s car form. Mecha transform into battle robots when its time to fight. Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross uses the Active Gear Battle system where players pick attacks like Fire Punch or Lightning Slash on the bottom screen.

It looks like Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross has a garage that holds your car transforming robots. Perhaps, this is where you can customize them there?

Gyrozetter: Wings of the Albatross is slated for spring 2013 and will be shown at Square Enix’s Jump Festa booth.
