Falcom, Kadokawa Games, Chara-Ani, and Patapon developer Pyramid are working on an enhanced port of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero for PlayStation Vita. Kadokawa Games licensed Trails of Zero from Falcom and will publish the game. Chara-Ani is producing the title, and Pyramid is making it for Vita.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution will have full voice acting for the main story. On a Nico Nico live stream, Falcom said 157 characters will have speaking roles in Trails of Zero Evolution. Falcom also rearranged 74 songs and made a new opening for the game.

Pyramid upgraded the graphics for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution and added new sub quests tied to a storyline written by Daisuke Tazawa for players that completed the game on PSP. A few mini-games that make use of Vita’s hardware were added too. You can play darts, clock memory, and a Kororinpia style rolling game that has players tilt the handheld to roll marbles through a maze. Players can also select menu items using the touch screen.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution is slated for release this summer and will retail for 6,040 yen ($78) in stores or 5,040 yen ($65) on PlayStation Network.
